Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
MicroPicked ("we," "us," "our") operates the website at https://micropicked.com. This page explains what is collected when you use the site, who collects it, and what is stored in your browser.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies. It records aggregated information such as the page visited, the referring site, country, browser and device type. When you click a link to Amazon, that click is also recorded as an event, with the page, the product's Amazon ID, where on the page the link was and the type of page.
Videos
Some pages show YouTube video previews. The preview image is loaded from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com), which receives your IP address. The video player itself (youtube-nocookie.com) loads only when you click play, and YouTube's own privacy policy then applies.
The site has no email sign-up and no other form that collects personal information. An earlier email sign-up was removed in October 2026, and no newsletter is sent. Addresses submitted before then remain in our account with the email provider Resend and in a private archive kept by the site owner. They are not used to send email.
Cookies and Browser Storage Set by This Site
The site itself sets no cookies. It stores only one small preference value in your browser, and it does not identify you:
- theme-preference (local storage): set only if you switch between light and dark mode.
The site uses fonts already installed on your device and does not load any third-party font service.
Amazon Associates
MicroPicked participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that lets sites earn fees by linking to Amazon.com. When you click a link to Amazon, you leave this site, and Amazon may set cookies in your browser to record that you came from here. Amazon's own privacy notice covers what happens on Amazon. We receive only aggregate commission reports, not information about you.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell personal information, and the site has no user accounts or comment system.
Changes to This Policy
If what the site collects changes, this page will be updated and its "Last updated" date revised.
